We had a frost warning here in Kansas City this morning. This is my favorite time of year for camping trips. It's also what I call the winter court of gaming. Usually, most of my long games have wrapped, and my con season, too -PAX Unplugged being the very last con. Right now, I'm planning the 4th quarter game wishlist, drinking coffee, and paying bills.
I have got to get a couple of sessions of the Miseries and Misfortunes RPG to the table. I've been re-listening to Captain Alatriste as inspiration. I'd like to play through a few sessions, what the game calls a moment. So that's high on my list.
I've got Cortex Prime Lifted games to run for my KS backers, but I'd also like to run some other supers games for fun and comparison. Villains and Vigilantes, Trinity: Assassins and Wild Talents are high on the list.
I owe a friend some Tenra Banso Zero time. I've got a fantastic mashup of TBZ and the Anthem video game I'd like to revisit.
Homeworld and Twilight Imperium RPGs are still fresh and new on my table.
Over in the Indie Game Reading Club Slack, there seems to be a curiosity about Burning Wheel that I think a few open table sessions could fit in there!
I owe a run at Jorune to another friend, but the existing rules are so bad -what to use instead?!
What's on your winter game list for playing or running?
